Motus is an experiment, presented through the concept of
"Cynogrid Polynomial Apparatus Research Institute" [CgPARI] (Subunit of Purehedra Substanz Institut [P-S-I] of Pharmafabrik Recordings).
We might conditionally assert that the material at hand is not a translucent and self-obvious project, though by the first impression, it appears to deal with modified repetitions of a particular theme, which pushes us over and over to the same thought-patterned-structure and minimalistic ambient swings, blended with granular sounds and broken reverberating noises, encircling, as a kind of gesture, a certain point, as if trying to grasp the evasive object, around which "motus" is titillating, with its own reflexive motion and iterative movement. It leaves us to discover a certain pattern which might/not become tangible at the moments, temporarily giving us some consolation with ambiental passages, offered here and there, but overall it looks as if everything is in perpetual kinesis and subjugated to a strange "repetitio principii" which represents this encircling motion i.e. becomes more or less displaced at every of its next step that it enrolls upon. Precisely the 'failure' to perfectly represent and define the "object" of this lengthy project, is the building block of its own innate structural condition, which forms and strengthens a certain modus of disruptive dislocability, a suspension which keeps us strangely perplexed and pushes us to different fractions and angles of 'imaginative-thought' process.
